Frequently Asked Question on
General Information
QiangBao® Tire Sealant has adhesive characteristics, which allows it to cling to the inner casing of the tire. This helps to prevent vibration when the tire rotates and the sealant is once again forced to flow around the tire.
When tire is stationary the sealant will pool slowly at the base of the tire. It will redistribute evenly around inside the tire once the tire is in motion.
No, QiangBao® Tire Sealant contains rust and corrosion inhibitors that protect against damage for 1 years. We recommend after 1 years you remove the sealant and replace it with new QiangBao® Tire Sealant to ensure optimal rust and corrosion protection.
As for vibration problem occurs with 4 wheelers, it is common problem for all water-based tire sealant. We tested slime, ours and other sealants, turned out all have effects on car balance when speed exceeds like 80km or 110km, depends on car type, volume installed. we have detailed test reports. for two-wheelers, not vibration issue.
So, if you are driving at high speed and the road condition is good, rarely got punctures, you do not need tire sealant pre-installed, you can have some bottle and pump stored in the car and use it when you had a flat. For those driving at moderate speed and got punctures often, pre-installation of tire sealant is really a good choice, since it saves you a lot of time and trouble.

QiangBao® Tire sealant is a water based liquid and therefore will evaporate faster than latex based sealant. We recommand an QiangBao® Tire sealant reinstall every 10 month, replace every 1 year.
No. The QiangBao® is actually a delivery system for fibers, rubber particles and other sealing agents. As the liquid gets forced out through the puncture, it carries along with it the larger puncture repairing ingredients which pack into and seal the hole, preventing air loss. The green/blue dot that may be visible on the outside of your tire may not harden, but may congeal, which results in a flexible seal.
QiangBao® liquid Tire sealant is non-toxic, cleans up with water and does not contain propellants. An alternate air source is required to inflate tire after installation.
Aerosol tire inflator provide minimal inflation, delivering only enough air to lift the rim off the ground and can only be used once for emergency.
Schrader is seen more as a standard “car-type” valve while the Presta valve is tapered and often found on high-end performance bicycles. QiangBao® Tire sealant can not be used to Presta valve tires.
QiangBao® Tire sealant
Seal bicycle tube puncture to 6.8mm
Motorcycle tubeless tire puncture to 10mm
Car tubeless tire puncture to 20mm
Truck tubeless tire puncture to 25mm
OTR tubeless tire puncture to 38mm
The puncture must occur in the tread area of the tire since QiangBao® cannot reach or seal punctures outside of the tread area. QiangBao® Tire sealant will not seal bead leaks or large punctures.
When QiangBao is stored in its original packaging and placed in a cool dry place it will last for 3 years. Once in the tire, QiangBao Tire Sealant will remain active for another 6 months.
When you look at the tire valve you will see a metal cylinder in the very center. This is the valve core. To install QiangBao Tire Sealant, use the black valve core removal tool on the cap of the bottle to slowly twist the core counter-clockwise. Allow the air to slowly escape before removing the core completely. After installing QB tire sealant, replace the valve core and re-inflate the tire.
QiangBao Tire Sealant is a liquid that may dry out over long periods of time. The rust and corrosion inhibitors in the sealant also break down over time. For maximum puncture protection and optimal performance, we recommended that QiangBao Tire Sealant be reinstalled every 10 months, be replaced every 1 year.
- Vehicle tire gauges, and many other types of pressure gauges are zero-referenced to atmospheric pressure, which means that they measure the pressure above atmospheric pressure which is around 1 BAR. The following key terms may be beneficial when dealing with your gauge.
- PSI (pounds per square inch) standard tire pressure reading in the USA
- KPA Kilopascal – A unit of pressure. 1 kPa is approximately the pressure exerted by a 10-g mass resting on a 1-cm2 area. 101.3 kPa = 1 atm. kPA is used as a unit of measure in Europe and other areas that use the metric system.
- BAR The BAR is a unit of pressure defined as 100 Kilopascals. It is about equal to the atmospheric pressure on Earth at sea level. 1 bar = 100 kPa (kilopascals) per square centimeter. 1 Bar = 14.50 PSI. BAR is used as a unit of measure in Europe and other areas that use the metric system.
NO, our tire sealant can not be used for built-in TPMS tire.
Please verify local waste disposal requirements. Requirements vary by county.
Generally, from our MSDS sheet, tire sealant should be diluted with large amount of water before disposal.
Our QiangBao Tire Sealant is formulated with rust and corrosion inhibitors as well as a pH buffer making the product neutral. All of these ingredients work to protect the integrity of your rim. It is important to note there are factors which can allow damage to occur in spite of this. If you want to err on the side of caution, you can use QiangBao as a roadside repair. All you need is QiangBao tire sealant and an air compressor! Despit of our advanced formula upgrade, QiangBao might have an adverse effect on certain types of aluminum rims. Because alloys differ, it is difficult to predict how QiangBao will react with your rims specifically. Over the years, though, we have found that older rims are more susceptible to damage from tire sealant. Do not leave QiangBao Tire Sealant inside your tires for more than 6 months. After that time, we cannot guarantee the integrity of your rims. If pre-existing damage is present, we do not recommend using QiangBao Tire Sealant.
