Tire self-mending agent and method for preparing

The invention discloses a tire self-mending agent and a method for preparing the tire self-mending agent. The tire self-mending agent comprises, by mass, 30-40% of deionized water, 0.1-1% of polyvinyl alcohol, 0.5-1% of cellulose ether, 1-5% of plant fiber, 0.1-1% of nanometer inorganic filler, 40-50% of alcohol anti-freezing agent, 1-5% of rubber particle, 0.5-2% of calcined gypsum, 0.1-1% of sodium nitrite and 5-10% of latex. A plug and a leakage-proof film formed by the self-mending agent after the self-mending agent is dried can seal a crack permanently, and the tire self-mending agent is good in air tightness, prevents a tire from leaking air, can endure heavy loads, and endures impact with the road surface. The tire self-mending agent is convenient to use, nontoxic, free of extraneous odor and strong in mending capacity and can be used for mending 6.8mm cracks in an inner tube , 10mm cracks in a vacuum tire of a motorcycle, 18mm cracks in a vacuum tire of an automobile and 38mm cracks in a vacuum tire of an engineering machinery vehicle.

This product is a single-use product. Use and dispose of in accordance with state, local and federal laws and regulations.

Why Tire Sealant Did Not Work?

1.The puncture is over the working range.

Solution: Use other traditional ways, such as  cold patch, cold bar glue, rubber strip.

2.The puncture is on the top/side of the tire where sealant can’t seal.

Solution: Use other traditional ways, such as cold patch, cold bar glue,rubber strip.

3.The tire sealant isn’t added according to suggested volume.

Solution:Add more sealant until the suggested volume.

4.The inner tube and the cover tire are unmatched.

Solution:Change to matched inner tube with the cover tire.

5.The tire sealant can’t form plug to seal well because of low tire pressure.

Solution: Inflate the tire until attaining the standard tire pressure.

6.The old puncture punctures again, and the puncture is over the working range.

Solution: Use other traditional ways to seal, or change new tire.

7.Old and bad quality tire will leak easily.

Solution: Change new tire.

8.The tire sealant can’t form plug to seal well because of oil, waxiness and powder in new tire.

Solution: Keep tire pressure and drive 2-4km.

9.The mixture of solids and liquid is not rational, can’t infuse into the tire completely.

Solution: Fully shake the tire sealant before infusing into the tire.


Professional Repair Instructions of Aerosol Tire Inflator

Inform tire repair specialist that tire inflator was used in tire and share warnings listed on this can.

Do not weld or attempt repair without first removing tire from rim. Never inflate tire with pure oxygen.

Failure to follow recommendations could result in injury and/or explosion.

The Cautions of Aerosol Tire Inflator:

Use only as directed. This product is a TEMPORARY repair. Have tire inspected and repaired by a tire care professional as soon as possible to ensure safety and proper cleaning of tire pressure sensor, if so equipped. We recommend treated tire be repaired within 3 days or 100 miles after use of our product.

Do not over-inflate. Add addition air if necessary. Do not use on any vehicle with less than four tires. If used in “Z-rated” tires, be sure to check tire pressure before driving.

This product will not repair valve leaks, sidewall punctures or punctures larger than 3mm. This product will not repair a tire that is separated from the rim.

Keep far away from exhaust pipe when using.


Store can in trunk or spare tire wheel well or other cool and dry place. Do not store in vehicle interior or direct sunlight. Di not expose to heat or store at temperatures above 50℃ .

Qiangbao Tire Sealant Will Ruin Tie Rim, Is That True?

Qiangbao tire sealant is formulated with rust and corrosion inhibitors as well as a PH buffer making the product neutral. All of these ingredients work to protect the integrity of your rim. It is important to note there are factors which can allow damage to occur in spite of this. If you want to err on the side of caution, you can use Qiangbao as roadside repair. All you need is Qiangbao tire sealant and an air compressor! Despite of our our advanced formula upgrade, Qiangbao might have an adverse effect on certain types of aluminum rims. Because alloys differ, it is difficult to predict how Qiangbao will react with your rims specifically. Over the years, though, we have found that older rims are more susceptible to damage from tire sealant. Do not leave Qiangbao Tire Sealant inside your tires for more than 6 months. After that time, we cannot guarantee the integrity of your rims. If pre-existing damage is present, we do not recommend using Qiangbao Tire Sealant.

How do I install Qiangbao Tire Sealant with the hand pump?

Usage 25L-Barrel by using pump

  1. Position valve core in upper half of tire.(with valve stem at the 3:00 or 9:00 position)
  2. Remove valve core with tool in cap and fully deflate the tire.
  3. Remove object if there’s any.
  4. Using hand mixer to mix the tire sealant in the barrel evenly.
  5. Install the pump into the barrel tightly, connect pump hose to the tire valve.
  6. Pump the sealant into tire till suggested volume.(ONE down stroke of hand pump delivers 450ml of sealant, volume can be adjusted)
  7. Clean up the valve, reinstall/replace the valve core and inflate the tire.
  8. Drive. Stop. Verify seal and check pressure.

How Does Qiangbao Tire Sealant Work?

The best way to infuse tire sealant into tire is that prefilled into the tire before puncture, when there are punctures happened to the tire tread area, under the forces from air pressure and vehicle weight, the special sealing particles( in shapes of strips, flakes, grains & powder) and filming  agent rapidly rush towards the puncture, clog and block the puncture, then dry and form sealing plug, permanently seal the puncture and stop air leaking.

How Do I Apply Tire Sealant?

Pump the sealant into the tire through the valve core opening without a jack supports the weight of the vehicle or implement. Following your owners manual and the instructions on the tire sealant packaging, determine how many millimeter of sealant are needed per tire. Note, however, that putting in less material than recommended will limit efficacy as the tire doesn’t contain enough sealant to stop a puncture.

Be sure to check the pressure of and balance the tires after applying tire sealant. If the sealant puddles in the bottom of the tire, it may cause imbalances when moving at higher speed or over uneven terrain.

Limitations of Tire Sealant

Remember—some sealants work only with tubeless tires and cannot be used with tube-type tires.


Aerosol Tire Inflator Pros and Cons

When drivers first discover aerosol tire inflator, it helps a lot, but can’t replace a spare tire.

Aerosol tire inflator can be used to quickly and easily repair a flat within 3mm, and without changing the tire. These products come in a pressurized can, while there are numerous advantages to using such a product should you get a flat tire, there are also some potentially negative consequences that you should be aware of prior to use.

The Advantages of Aerosol Tire Inflator
One of the greatest advantages of using a canned aerosol tire inflator is convenience. You simply attach the nozzle of the can to the tire valve stem and press the button. The foam will rapidly expand to inflate the tire so that you can keep on driving. Besides, the foam can gradually become gas and sealing material, which can evenly spread over the surface the inner tire and foam a leak proof film to block the small puncture. This entire process takes only three minute or five. This is especially appealing for people who do not want to take the time to put on a spare tire, or whose car does not have a spare.

These aerosol tire inflator do not permanently repair the tire, it is only for emergency use, the tire must still receive a traditional patch to be suitable for long term use.

What Should We Do if We Find a Object in Your Tire?

If an object has punctured your tire tread within the QIANGBAO covered area, check to make sure that the tire pressure is within standard pressure. Remove the puncturing object and, while taking extreme caution, drive your motorcycle another 3-5 miles. Be sure to check the air pressure to make sure that you are not running the tire flat. If necessary, re-air the tire and continue riding your motorcycle for 2-3 miles. This will allow the QIANGBAO to work its way into hole and seal the puncture .

Although QIANGBAO is effective from -30°C to 90°C, it works best once tires have warmed up. For maximum safety, have a tire professional inspect (and if necessary, repair or change) your tire as soon as possible after a puncture. QIANGBAO will not interfere with the application of conventional tire plug and patch repairs, and can easily be washed out of tires with water.

You may be confused why you need to remove puncturing objects from your tire tread given that QIAGBAO forms an effective seal film around such objects to stop tire leaking. The reason is that if an object is left in the tire, it will shift as the tire rotates, eventually creating a larger hole and causing further damage to the tire or tube. Please note that if an object has been in the tire for a long time, it may take some time for the puncture cavity to close (this is because rubber has “memory,” which causes it to conform to the shape of the puncturing object). In this situation, the tire may temporarily lose some air until it is sealed.

Note: if the puncturing object is a screw, you must unscrew it – yanking or pulling the screw will tear the rubber and possibly the steel belts.

Inspect your tires regularly for perforating objects or other damage. Look for and remove any stones, bits of glass, metal, or other foreign objects wedged in the tread as they can work their way deeper into the tire and eventually cause a puncture. Also check your tires closely for signs of uneven wear patterns. Uneven wear may be caused by improper inflation, misalignment, tire imbalance, or damaged suspension parts. If the cause of the uneven wear is not corrected, further tire damage will occur. Certain uneven wear patterns may also indicate that the tire has suffered internal or structural damage; such damage requires immediate attention from a professional tire care specialist.
